PROCESS

Before any production work for a specific job begins, training and testing on client specifications are conducted. Medi-type Local Account Managers define client requirements for document management, acquiring knowledge on the volume of work, back file conversion, data format standardization, and the type of indexing – full text and selective. Input objects are determined as to media (paper, electronic, microfiche, voice, image) and size. Data can be brought into production in the form of CDs, digital files transmitted through secure websites, and hardcopy documents. Stringent document grooming and control procedures guide the preparation stage. Data are then converted through scanning, conversion to image, and captured through indexing. Delivery of the final processed output follows .

  1. definition of client requirements and specifications
  2. document preparation
  3. conversion of documents
  4. data capture
  5. delivery of output
